Silk4B in vitro 3D bone marrow models were developed to bring translationally relevant human biology to scalable in vitro studies for research, drug development and clinical applications.

At the same time, mouse models remain a workhorse of research due to their accessibility and genetic manipulation. The ability to grow in vitro primary mouse cells of interest is an important complementary tool to in vivo mouse studies. Thus we tested and have shown that our 3D in vitro models are suitable for work with mouse cells, opening their use for cross species experiments in research and drug development.
